MISSION STATEMENT:
What better way to positively impact the health and well-being of our communities than to mentor young people in becoming advocates for education, health education, health promotion, and disease prevention? Programs include those that also support girls, youths, young adults, and women’s support services and children by providing education and economic opportunities.
VISION STATEMENT:
We strive to assist organizations in strengthening their capacity to deliver services and enhance the work environment, thereby expanding the delivery of K-12 education, health education, health promotion, and harm reduction to at-risk groups.
VALUE STATEMENT:
In keeping with its overall aim, Deskan Learning Academy Inc. has continued to assist organizations in strengthening their capacity to provide services and to enhance the work environment to expand the delivery of health education, health and wellness prevention, health promotion, and harm reduction to at-risk groups. We need to come together as communities to celebrate humanity, compassion, and understanding, and to exercise the power we all must be effective. We know that you can reach out to many others, but we are asking you to help us continue to help others.
The Deskan Institute & Training, Inc. works closely with national and international healthcare departments, schools, churches, outreach facilities, and community leaders. This collaboration ensures that their efforts are culturally relevant, sustainable, and tailored to meet the specific needs of each community they serve. A new Way of Restoring Hope.
